Louis Chude-Sokei’s work includes the award-winning The Last Darky: Bert Williams, Black on Black Minstrelsy and the African DiasporaThe Sound of Culture: Diaspora and Black Technopoetics and the recent memoir, Floating in A Most Peculiar Way. He teaches in the English Department at Boston University, directs the African American Studies Program and is Editor in Chief of the journal, The Black Scholar. He recently collaborated with the noted electronic experimentalists, Mouse on Mars on their new album, Anarchic Artificial Intelligence (AAI) and is currently curating a state sponsored sound art project at the Nazi Party Rally Grounds in Nuremberg, “Sometimes You Just Have to Give it Your Attention.”
